Ines M. Sarno

Ines M. Sarno of Southold died April 1 at the age of 84.

Born in Manhattan on Feb. 2, 1926, to Filomenia and Nereo Trabucchi, she graduated from high school in 1944 and married Nicholas Sarno in Bayside on June 25, 1950.

According to her family, she enjoyed quilting and rug hooking.

Ms. Sarno is survived by her husband; her children, Christina, of Middletown, N.J., Nicholas, of Massapequa, and Karen, of Springfield, Ore.; and two grandchildren.

The family received visitors April 5 at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. Funeral services were conducted April 6 at St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold by Father Michell. Interment was at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery in Flushing.
