Some memories may be dark, but the sunshine was bright for Monday’s Memorial Day observances, including the annual parade that alternates locations among Mattituck, Southold and Greenport. Representatives of many local groups, including veterans’ groups and local fire departments, joined the line of march down Main Street in Greenport.
