SHAUN STERLING AND HEATHER CUMMINGS

Heather Cummings and Shaun Sterling were married July 27, 2009, at St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold.

Heather, a graduate of Southold High School and Hartwick College, is a registered nurse at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. She is the daughter of Keith and Patti Cummings of Southold.

Shaun, son of Peter and Georgienne Sterling of Cutchogue, graduated from Mattituck High School and Fairfield University. He is a landscape and masonry contractor at the family company, Plantings by the Sea in Cutchogue.

The bride was attended by maids of honor Andrea Borelli and Kathryn Geller, and Evelyn Cummings, Rachel Johnson, Jennifer Vandenberg, Heidi Mariani, Lauren Kroncke, Amanda Dunn and Erin Osmer. Standing up for the groom were best men Steven Shipman and Owen O’Callahan, and Todd Johnson, Brian Cummings, Wayne Lindsay, Marc Mercurio, Christopher Schoch, James Kondrat and John Wallace. Cooper Cummings and Wyatt Johnson were ring bearers; flowers girls were Hannah Johnson, Torrence Shipman and Jennifer Walsh.

The couple resides in Mattituck.
