If you like to dance and sweat off some calories, Jill Schroeder is offering summmer Zumba classes on Wednesday evenings in the high school gym from 5:30-6:30 for $12 a session. If that time of the day isn’t convenient you can check out Lisa Salmon’s Beach Bod Bootcamp at Veterans Memorial Park. Visit LIGETFIT.com for details. If yoga, Pilates or chair aerobics better suit your fancy, Mattituck-Laurel Library has these programs. Just drop by for additional information.

The Love Lane Street Fair is coming up Saturday, July 10, and if you’ve have never attended this annual event, you’re missing some true local tradition and fun. This year’s fair will have vendors lining the streets, music playing throughout the day and offer a chance to catch up with old friends. The rain date is Sunday, July 11.

Sacred Heart Parish invites everyone to a talk by Fr. Joseph Staudt’s talk, entitled “With six billion people on earth, why shold God be concerned about me?” His discussion of faith and prayer will be presented July 11, 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Mattituck.

This is the season where we welcome visitors to our town and our homes. If you have news you want to put in print to share with your guests, call me and I will create some memories for your scrapbooks.
