What’s happening this weekend?

The 12th annual Sound to Bay 10K road race will start Sunday at 9 a.m. at Iron Pier Beach in Northville and conclude at South Jamesport Beach.
Two Miller Place High School graduates, Bryan Knipfing and Christina De Rosa, won last year’s race. Mr. Knipfing turned in a winning time of 34 minutes 59 seconds for his second triumph in the race.
Ms. De Rosa was the top female finisher for the third time in four years, clocking a time of 36:56.
Day of race registration is $25  from 7-8:30 a.m.
There is also a post-race raffle award ceremony.

Thirty-sixth annual Polish Town Street Fair & Polka Festival, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in Riverhead. Free admission; food and beverages available, including famous kielbasa sandwiches and pierogi. Events include Polish Mass at St. Isidore R.C. Church, petting zoo, pony rides, flag-raising ceremony, re-enactment of traditional Polish wedding, polka music, corn-husking contest and more. The Retreat’s 3rd annual Hamptons Pursuit Car Rallye begins 8:30 a.m. at The Retreat Boutique, Bridgehampton Commons, with pre-race continental breakfast by Hampton Coffee Company prior to shotgun start. Participants cruise back roads, following clues to checkpoints and answer trivial questions. Finish at waterside home for lunch and prizes. Fee $125, includes driver, navigator and lunch.
