Justice Court

Arslan Karagoz, 39, of Mattituck failed to appear in Southold Justice Court Friday to answer a charge of unlawfully dealing with a child. Judge William Price Jr. issued a warrant for his arrest, but noted that Mr. Karagoz is slated to be deported.

* Kenneth Mac Alpin, 47, of Greenport was sentenced to one year at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility on four charges of second-degree criminal contempt, six charges of second-degree aggravated harassment, and four charges of second-degree harassment.

* Spiro Beletsis, 50, of Southold was sentenced to 30 days in jail and placed on probation for three years after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle while impaired on drugs.

* Christopher Danielson, 31, of Centereach was placed on five years’ probation and ordered to participate in an alcohol treatment program after pleading guilty to seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two charges of third-degree fleeing from a police officer.

* Ryan Evans, 20, of Riverhead was placed on probation for one year and ordered to enter a substance abuse rehabilitation program after pleading guilty to possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
