Ralph Stocker

Ralph Stocker, age 85, of Greenport, died Nov. 27, 2010.

Beloved husband for over 60 years of Lucille (DiBlasi) Stocker. Loving father of Ralph and Marnie, Lee and Deborah, and Christopher and John. Devoted grandfather of Jonathan, Kate, Michael, Andrew and Madeline. Dear brother of Marlene Mruck of Reisterstown, Md.

He served proudly in World War II in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard DE 255 USS Selstrom, seeing action in both the North Atlantic and China Sea, and remained a lifelong mariner.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at St. Agnes R.C. Church in Greenport. A second memorial service at sea is planned for the spring.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Peconic Land Trust, 22600 Main Road, Cutchogue, NY 11935, will be appreciated.
