Wedding: Daly – Ruggi

Kerry Daly and Christopher Ruggi were married Jan. 8 at St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold by the Rev. George Michell and Deacon Paul Hveem. A reception followed at the Southold home of the bride’s parents, David and Marilyn Daly.

The bride and groom are both 2004 graduates of The College of the Holy Cross, where they met.

Kerry is a vice president in human resources at Citigroup and also volunteers with Puppies Behind Bars, an organization that trains inmates to raise puppies as service dogs.

Christopher, the son of John and Joanne Ruggi, is an elementary teacher in the New York City public school system and also coaches for the Super Soccer Stars, a children’s sports program in New York City. He holds a master’s degree in education from Queens College.

The couple resides in Manhattan.

  • Sarah has a proven track record of being able to listen to and well represent the people of the community. I worked alongside her on the Mt Sinai School Board and was always impressed by her calm demeanor and can do attitude. I think she would bring a fresh voice and new ideas to the legislature and well represent our community.

  • She’s mentions 3 children. How does she have the time for these children while working and running for a legislator? hmm one can only wonder
