Achievements: Southold natives garner academic accolades

• Erin Clark, a 2007 Southold High School graduate, has been named to the fall 2010 dean’s list at Quinnipiac University, where she is a senior majoring in psychology and elementary education.

• Christopher Rehm of Mattituck has graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute as a certified diesel technician, achieving a 3.12 GPA.

• Sarah Hallock, Southold High School Class of 2010, has earned a place on the fall 2010 dean’s list at Northeastern University in Boston, where she is a physical therapy major.

• Megan Penney has been named to the fall term dean’s list at the University of New Haven. She graduated from Southold High School in 2009.

• Kevin Parma of Peconic has earned a place on the President’s List for the fall 2010 semester at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. He is a freshman majoring in exploratory business.

• Timothy Winters of Southold has made the fall 2010 dean’s list at SUNY/Maritime College. A 2010 Southold High School graduate, he is also a cadet in the college’s ROTC program.

• Samantha Berry of Southold, Frank Krupski of Laurel and Carolyn Wells of East Marion have been named to the fall 2010 Provost’s List at SUNY/Oneonta for achieving a perfect GPA of 4.0.

• The following local students have all been named to the dean’s list at SUNY/Oneonta for the fall 2010 semester: Jackie Goy of Cutchogue; Carolyn Wells of East Marion; Frank Krupski of Laurel; Jonathan Ascher and Christiana Marron of Mattituck; and Samantha Berry, Jason Doroski and Kaela Zito of Southold.
