Local chef Gerry Hayden of The North Fork Table & Inn in Southold, is a semifinalist in the 2011 James Beard Foundation Awards competition for best chef in the Northeast, according to ExploreLI.com a subsection of Newsday.com.
This is the second consecutive year Mr. Hayden has been a semifinalist.
