Marie Keleski

Marie Keleski died March 17 at Riverhead Care Center, where she had resided for five years. She was 92.

She was born Sept. 23, 1918, in Zdenkov, Czechoslovakia, to Antonia Kacetl Zak. She married Seamon Keleski on April 29, 1951, in Cutchogue, where they lived for 60 years and had a farm on Oregon Road. Family members said she enjoyed being a farmer’s wife and housewife and loved to cook and work in her garden.

Ms. Keleski is survived by her husband; her siblings, Jeanette Demarest and William Zak, both of Riverhead; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in 1975 by her sister Althea McGuire.

Visiting hours took place March 20 at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. A funeral service was held March 21 at Our Lady of Ostrabrama R. C. Church in Cutchogue, officiated by Father Marian Bicz. Interment was at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cutchogue.
