Robert F. Tinnerello

Robert F. Tinnerello of Greenport died March 15 at his home. He was 52.

Born in Brooklyn on Jan. 22, 1959, to Vincent J. and Marie C. Tinnerello, he grew up in Queens Village and spent time in St. Petersburg, Fla., where his family owned the Villa Maria pizzeria for many years.

According to family members, he was an avid Yankee fan and an excellent cook, loved music and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Tinnerello is survived by his children, Marie, Angela and Carla, and their mother, Rebecca, all of Wilmington, Del.; his longtime partner, Erin Pia of Greenport; his brother, Vincent, also of Wilmington; his sister, Theresa, of Bay Shore; and many other relatives. His parents predeceased him.

Arrangements were in the care of Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport.
