Carrick’s Service Corp. is a family owned and operated, customer service-based contracting company. Founder Kevin H. Carrick started out in the tree business in 1986, originating as Stumpbusters. In 2003, following more than 24 years of active service in the U.S. Air Force, Kevin incorporated his family business and expanded into landscape construction, property maintenance and green energy with the help of his sons, Joshua and Brian.

Josh Carrick manages sales, Brian Carrick is the crew foreman and Karen Carrick handles office administration.

Kevin insists on maintaining a customer-oriented company while using state-of-the-art safety and communication technologies. When Carrick’s Service Corp. says, “We go out on a limb for you!” they’re not just whistling Dixie. Their customers enjoy the resources and professionalism of a large company while receiving personal attention from a small family business. “We offer each and every one of our clients the same personal attention and quality service, no matter how big or small the job is,” said Josh. “We’ll take you step-by-step through every aspect of the job to ensure your complete satisfaction.” Kevin himself is also available at any time to talk to his valued customers.

Whether you need to clear a lot for a new pool, cut down a dead tree or carefully prune your ornamentals, Carrick’s Tree Service can handle any size tree job quickly and, most importantly, safely. “Our state-of-the-art spider lift requires only a 38-inch opening to access even the most remote trees anywhere on your property,” said Josh. “It can fit through fence gates, under arbors, over decks and patios and over uneven terrain. The spider lift maintains all of the capabilities of a traditional bucket truck without causing any of the damage.”

For many years, the Carrick’s Landscape Service team of artistic landscape professionals has been beautifying the East End, tackling everything from complete landscaping jobs to small backyard renovations and upgrades, working within the client’s space and budget. “We have years of experience dealing with Long Island’s unique weather, soils and plants, allowing us to make expert recommendations based on past jobs,” Josh said. “We understand many people enjoy completing some of these tasks themselves or have trusted people already in place working on their properties. We appreciate that loyalty, and will happily work with them to fill in the gaps in any way to provide the most beautiful, carefree property possible.”

Their team of on-staff professionals will attempt to cater to all requests with prompt, professional, expert services in all of the following areas: landscape design and construction management, demolition and rolloff dumpster services, established tree transplanting, land clearing, excavation and drainage, driveways, ponds and waterfalls, ornamental hand pruning, privet hedge management, supplemental support systems, stump grinding, custom wood milling, firewood sales, custom flagpole installations, complete custom masonry services, fencing, arbors, decks, gazebos, irrigation, landscape lighting systems, tree, landscape and lawn installations and maintenance, gutter cleaning and pressure washing, blacktop repairs and sealing, and all types of shrink wrapping. They also provide snow and ice management and holiday decoration and lighting installations.

Carrick’s Maintenance Service offers professional caretaking and house-watching for summer residents with large estates or small bungalows. “Let us worry about the details” is a company motto.

Carrick’s Firewood Service offers fully seasoned firewood delivered already stacked and wrapped in protective plastic on 4-foot-square pallets, and can even provide bundled kindling wood to start fires. ‘Our wood will warm you up!” they say. They also provide on-site wood splitting and stacking, custom wood racks and specialized tools, chimney sweeping and inspections and clean coal and wood pellet deliveries.

Carrick’s Service Corp. has built a strong reputation based on quality customer service, and takes pride in being one of the area’s most easily accessible contracting companies.
