Blotter: Southold man treated for injuries following crash

Justin Kline, 21, of Southold was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead by the Mattituck Fire Department rescue squad just before 1 p.m. on April 28, after his car hit two telephone poles on Sound Avenue just west of Cox Neck Lane in Mattituck. Police said that Mr. Kline reported that he’d been zipping up his sweatshirt when he lost control of his vehicle.
• A resident of Pine Avenue in Southold reported April 27 that someone had put a large amount of water in her car’s gas tank while it was parked at her house between April 12 and 13, causing $1,302 worth of damage.
• A 36-year-old resident of Alvah’s Lane, Cutchogue, reported on April 25 that two diamond rings, each valued at $15,000, had been taken from her home. There was no sign of forced entry.
• A resident of Gillette Drive in East Marion reported on April 26 that someone removed an air compressor and a 50-foot attachment hose from his garage sometime between March 26 and April 26.
Those who are named in police reports have not been convicted of any crime or violation. The charges against them may later be reduced or withdrawn, or they may be found innocent.
