Eileen Carroll

Former Cutchogue resident Eileen Carroll died May 14 at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan. She was 60.

She was born July 12, 1950, in Greenport, to Harry and Eileen Raynor. For the past eight years she had resided in Pennsylvania, where she worked as a waitress at Woodloch Pines Resort.

According to family members, she enjoyed cooking and gardening, and would feed any animal that happened to cross her path.

Ms. Carroll is survived by her husband, Steven Heinrich, of Pennsylvania; her daughter, Michelle McDaniel (Timothy) of Mattituck; her brother, Henry Raynor (Mary) of Cutchogue; her mother, Eileen, of New Suffolk; and her grandson, Collin, of Mattituck. She was predeceased by her son, William Carroll, in 2007; her daughter Hollyann Heinrich in 2011; and her father in 1985.

Visiting hours are set for Wednesday, May 18, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue, where a service will take place at 8 p.m. officiated by Father Tom Murray of St. Agnes R.C. Church. Cremation was private.
