Humans and Sculpture/Birds and Nests, 10 a.m. nature workshop, 11 a.m. art-making by sculptor Diane Giardi, at North Fork Audubon Society’s Red House Nature Center, Inlet Pond County Park, Route 48, Greenport. Unique hands-on workshop led by Audubon educators and artist Diane Giardi. Create a unique, place-based sculpture in conjunction with exhibition “Beyond Spheres: Landscapes.” Using natural materials gathered nearby, design and build a large nest-like form, integrating wrapping and weaving plus the addition of inspirational text.
