North Fork Ospreys fans bid the team a fond farewell for the season. They were defeated by the Westhampton Aviators last week in their final game, but they added a lot of excitement to summer nights at Cochran Park. Thanks to all who supported the team. We’ll welcome the boys back next summer!

Lisa Sawicki and her fiancé, John Reimking of Atlanta, Ga., enjoyed a visit with her parents, Connie and Joe Sawicki Sr. Lisa and John have wedding plans for May 2012.

Happy birthday to Perri Dorset on Aug. 14. Perri, her husband, Brett, and their daughter, Nolia, recently purchased a home in Southold. We welcome them to our beautiful area.
