Photos: Suffolk Historical Society’s Sept. 11 exhibit opens

The much-anticipated 9/11 Memorial Exhibit at the Suffolk County Historical Society had its opening reception Friday night. Aside from an array of photos, paintings and sculptures all having to do with Sept. 11, visitors to the West Main Street location in Riverhead were able to view a 30-minute video called “We Will Never Forget,” which was of oral histories from seven people recalling their experiences of 9/11, and other displays.

The art show will be on exhibit through Oct. 1.
