Edmond Harvey Curcuru

Southold resident Edmond Harvey Curcuru died in his sleep March 20 at his winter home in Longboat Key, Fla. He was 89.

He was a June 1943 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a retired U.S. Army captain.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m. at Southold United Methodist Church. Interment with military honors will follow at Southold Presbyterian Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Homes.

Memorial donations may be made to Southold United Methodist Church or to a U.S. Army veterans organization of the donor’s choice.
