Southold Police arrest two for DWI

Two people were picked up on drunk driving charges early Sunday morning, Southold Police reported.

Carlos Aguilar, 26, of Greenport was stopped at a convenience store at 1:20 a.m. after a computer check found his license plate belonged to another vehicle, police said. Officers then determined that he was intoxicated, according to reports. He was held for arraignment and his vehicled towed to impound.

Shortly after 2 a.m. police spotted Kimberly Corwin, 37, of Greenport driving eastbound in the westbound lane on the North Road in Greenport, according to reports. Police said her eyes were bloodshot and her breath smelled of alcohol.  She also was held overnight for arraignment.
