Robert G. Babian

Robert G. Babian of Mattituck died Nov. 16 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 52.

He was born Jan. 1, 1959, in Brooklyn to George and Arline Babian and married Deborah Crosley in Brooklyn on Aug. 31, 1980.

He was a construction worker with BDB Construction in Bridgehampton. According to family members, he enjoyed fishing.

Predeceased by his father earlier this year, Mr. Babian is survived by his wife; his daughter, Dawn Babian-Strand of Speonk; his mother and his sister, Laurie, both of Colorado; his brother, Allen, of Tennessee; and three grandchildren.

Visiting hours were held Nov. 20. Cremation was private, with arrangements handled by McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home of Riverhead.
