Roanoke Vineyards will soon join a small number of East End wineries in opening a second tasting room.

Roanoke wine, which is only sold in its existing tasting room in Riverhead and online, will soon be sold in a new space in Mattituck, said the vineyard’s creative director, Scott Sandell — but the exact location has yet to be disclosed.

Mr. Sandell did say, so long as the real estate transaction goes through, the new tasting room will be centrally located and have ample parking.

“Roanoke’s kind of a cult winery,” Mr. Sandell said. “All wines sell out almost immediately upon release.”

After a great deal of success, he said, “we thought we’d broaden our audiences a little bit.”
