What’s happening at tonight’s Oysterponds School Board meeting?
The Oysterponds Board of Education will hold its meeting at 7 p.m tonight at the Orient school.
Items on tonight’s agenda include a public hearing on the authorization of spending $9,400 to repair a broken pipe on the school’s underground oil tank, which the board approved during its Dec. 13 meeting, and appointing Amy Bennett to the position of school district nurse.
Other items include scheduling school budget workshops on Feb. 28, March 6 and 27, as well as reducing the amount of time each person has to address the board from 5 minutes to 3 minutes.
