Achivements

• Jacob Boergesson of Southold has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Hartford in Connecticut for the fall 2011 semester.

• Three local residents, all seniors at SUNY/Oswego, have been named to the school’s fall 2011 dean’s list: Chris De Reeder of Mattituck, a philosophy major; William Mehr of Southold, majoring in technology education; and Brian Waggoner of Mattituck, whose major is public justice.

• Brittany Letteriello of Mattituck has made the dean’s list for the seventh consecutive semester at Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y., where she is a senior.

• Kelly Kraebel of Laurel has been named to the SUNY/Binghamton dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester.

• Kevin Reyer, a 2011 graduate of Mattituck High School, has made the fall 2011 dean’s list at Worcester (Mass.) Polytechnic Institute.

• Erin Cassidy of Southold has earned a place on the fall 2011 dean’s list at Long Island University, Riverhead, where she is a senior majoring in early childhood education.

• Niki Benedetto of Mattituck has been accepted into Drexel University’s summer 2012 graphic design program in London, where she will study from May through August.

• Nicole Tobar of Southold graduated in December 2011 from SUNY/Potsdam, earning a degree in childhood education MST.

• Sarah Conlin of Cutchogue has been named to the dean’s list for the A and B terms of the 2011-12 year at Worcester (Mass.) Polytechnic Institute, where she is a sophomore American studies major. She is also a midshipman 3rd class in Navy ROTC at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.

• Henry Rich, son of Jim and Terry Rich of Southold, has graduated from SUNY/Maritime College with a bachelor’s degree in marine transportation.

• Shauna School of Mattituck has earned a place on the fall 2011 dean’s list at Suffolk County Community College.

• Jon Bressler graduated in May 2011 from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash., with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. A 2007 graduate of Mattituck High School, he lives in Seattle and is employed by Winebow, a wine importer and distributor.

• Local students Alexandra Kowalsick and Jaclyn Shearin, both of Cutchogue, have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.

• Dan Letteriello of Mattituck, a sophomore at Westfield (Mass.) State University, has been named a scholar-athlete for the fall 2011 semester and is one of nine football players to make the New England Football Conference’s all-academic team.

• Erin Bozsnyak of Cutchogue has earned a place on the fall 2011 dean’s list at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.

• Evan Antignano of Cutchogue has been named to the president’s list at SUNY/Potsdam.

• Daniel Catapano of Southold, a history major at SUNY/Potsdam, has been named to the school’s dean’s list for the fall semester of 2011.

• Elizabeth Lieblein of Greenport has been named to the fall 2011 dean’s list, with high honors, at the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

• Senior Airman Joseph Tandy of Mattituck has completed the Airman Leadership course at McGhee-Tyson Air National Guard Base in Tennessee. He is a member of the New York Air National Guard’s 106th Rescue Wing at F.S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton.

• Kelly Dunn of Southold, a veterinary science major at Suffolk County Community College, has been named to the school’s dean’s list for the fall semester of 2011. Kelly graduated from Southold High School in 2007.

• Andrew Ennis of Mattituck has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Norwich University in Northfield, Vt.
