Mattituck students charged with marijuana possession

Following an investigation by school officials, three Mattituck High School students were arrested for marijuana possession Friday, Southold Police said.

Police charged two 17-year-olds and a 16-year-old student with violation counts of illegal possession of marijuana.

The students were turned over to police and taken to the department’s headquarters for processing and released for future court appearances, according to police.
