Police make two alcohol-related arrests in Mattituck, another in Southold

A man and a woman visiting the North Fork were charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol in a pair of unrelated incidents on Main Road in Mattituck Sunday, the same day a Southold man was also hit with a DWI further east, Southold Town Police said.

Raymond Warenik III, 19, of West Islip was stopped shortly before 4 a.m. for questioning in a criminal mischief that occurred Saturday night, when he was found to be operating his 2007 Dodge while impaired by alcohol, police said.

He was arrested, transported to headquarters, processed, and released on cash bail. He is scheduled to return to Southold Town Justice Court at a later date.

Andrea Seitz, 28, of Middle Island was driving her 2001 Nissan westbound on Main Road shortly before 8 p.m. when she was stopped for failing to maintain her lane of travel, police said. A further investigation found her to be intoxicated, police said.

She was arrested, transported to headquarters, processed, and held overnight for a Monday morning arraignment.

Vincent Ricciardi, 50, of Southold was also stopped for failing to maintain his lane of travel Sunday night on Main Road in Southold and was found to be intoxicated, police said.

He was arrested and transported to headquarters to be processed. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, police said
