Southold Town will open cooling centers Saturday

With temperatures Saturday expected to soar into the 90s, Southold Town will open two cooling centers for anyone looking to escape the heat and humidity.

Both centers, at the town Human Resources Center on Pacific Street in Mattituck and the town Recreation Center on Peconic Lane in Peconic, will open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
