Flanders man charged with DWI, marijuana possession

A 33-year-old Flanders man was arrested Thursday night for driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana, Southold Town Police said.

Police stopped Derek Knatz, 33, for a traffic violation on Route 25 in Southold when he was found to be intoxicated and in possession of marijuana, according to police. Mr. Knatz was transported to headquarters, processed and held overnight for arraignment, according to police.
