Cops: Southold man nabbed for DWI, open container in Greenport

A 3o-year-old Southold man was arrested on drunken driving charges Saturday night in Greenport, police said.

Rudy Huertas-Gatica was stopped for a traffic violation about 10:20 p.m. on Front Street when he was determined to be intoxicated, Southold Town police said.

Officers also found an open container of alcohol in his car, police siad.

He was charged with DWI and for the container, and held overnight at Southold police headquarters.
