Cops: Greenport man stole from village utility yard

A Greenport man who police said stole more than $5,000 worth of items from a Greenport village utility yard earlier this month faces a felony grand larceny charge,  Southold Police said.

Anthony N. Toy Jr, 47,was arrested after turning himself in, police said. He’s accused of taking copper wire, a truck radiator and Christmas lights on Oct. 1. He was later arraigned in Southold Justice Court, according to a report.
