Margaret T. Molloy

Margaret T. Molloy of Southold and Garden City died Nov. 4 at Townhouse Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Hempstead. She was 87.

She was born in New York City on Sept. 12, 1925, to Thomas and Ellen (Considine) Talty.

Known as Peg, she was a homemaker and a longtime parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold and St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Garden City. She was an active member of the Rosary Society.

Predeceased by her husband, James T. Molloy, her daughter Margaret Price and a son, also James T., Ms. Molloy is survived by her son Christopher, of Basking Ridge, N.J., and daughters Helene Mastro of Morristown, N.J., Maureen Colitre of Cleveland, Ohio, and Dianne Sheehan of Manhasset; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visiting hours took place Nov. 8 at Fairchild Sons Funeral Home, Garden City. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Nov. 9 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Garden City. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Queens.
