Constantine Bondarchuk

Constantine Bondarchuk, a lifelong Southold Town resident, died at his home in Orient on Nov. 7. He was 76.

He was born in Greenport May 23, 1936, to John and Jenny (Adamiak) Bondarchuk.

He was employed by the Village of Greenport and Cooper’s Fish Market. He enjoyed weather-watching and visiting with friends and family.

Mr. Bondarchuk was predeceased by his daughter Daria in 2011 and by a sister and five brothers.

He is survived by his daughter Alyce Verostek of Southold; his sons, Warren, of Vermont, and Keith, of Greenport; his brothers Alex and John, both of Southold Town; a sister, Helen Keller of Essington, Pa.; his significant other, Barbara Martin of Southold; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours were held Nov. 11 and a funeral service took place Nov. 12, both at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport. Interment was at St. Agnes Cemetery in Greenport.
