John M. Montgomery of Greenport died suddenly Jan. 23 at age 76.

The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport, with an American Legion Service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes R.C. Church in Greenport, followed by interment, with honors, at the church cemetery.
