Cutchogue driver caught with suspended license

A Cutchogue woman was arrested Wednesday morning for driving with a suspended license, according to Southold Town Police.

Christine Nietupski, 23, was stopped for speeding just before 9 a.m. on Route 48 in Peconic, police said.

After further investigation, she was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and no insurance in effect, police said.

She was transported to police headquarters to be processed.
