Jacqueline Kassner

Jacqueline Kassner of Dallas, Texas, died Sept. 16 after a brief illness. She was 83 years old and had been living with family in Southold.

She was born June 26, 1930, in Virginia and was a homemaker.

Predeceased by her husband, Fred Kassner Sr., in 1999, and a son, Fred Jr., she is survived by her son John, of California; her daughters, Linda Leone of New Hampshire, Kathleen Barr of Florida, Patricia Daly of Washington State, Eileen Lewis of New York and Jackie Devanna of New Jersey; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick R.C. Church in Southold, with interment following at the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue.
