Helen K. Muir

Longtime Mattituck resident Helen K. Muir died Oct. 21 at the age of 97.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Droskoski of Jamesport; a granddaughter, Amy (Bryant) Hall; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Charles Hall. Ms. Muir was predeceased in 1992 by her husband, Coach Bob Muir, who was a coach for Mattituck High School. She was also predeceased by a brother, Edward Donheffner.

Graveside services were held at Cutchogue Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck.
