Cops investigating armed robbery at GameStop
Southold Police are actively investigating an armed robbery which occurred at GameStop in Mattituck shortly after 5 p.m.
Police have taped off in front of the store, and a K-9 unit has been dispatched to help track down the suspect.
Game Stop, a video game store located in Mattituck Plaza at the corner of Main Road and Factory Avenue, was open at midnight on Tuesday for the early release of Call of Duty: Ghosts, a highly anticipated video game.
Detective Steven Harned said no one was hurt in the robbery and no arrests have been made as of 6:15 p.m.
