Town assessor to give presentation at Mattituck school board meeting

Southold Town Assessor Bob Scott is expected to give a presentation about Superstorm Sandy assessment relief at Thursday’s Mattituck school board meeting.

The Southold Town Board approved legislation on Tuesday to provide local tax relief to property owners whose homes or commercial structures were damaged by the storm.

The school board is also expected to vote on a bond resolution to finalize the recent voter-approved track bond proposal, according to the meeting’s agenda.
