Boys Basketball: Busy spell for Settlers ends with loss in Stony Brook

Andrew Daniel scored 15 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to spark The Stony Brook School to a 68-49 boys basketball win over Southold in a Suffolk County League VIII game in Stony Brook on Thursday night.

Asaiah Wilson paced the winners with 19 points and 7 steals and Chase Audige contributed 17 points for the Bears (6-1, 5-1), who rolled to a 9-0 advantage and never looked back.

Liam Walker led the First Settlers (5-5, 4-4) with 17 points and Shayne Johnson collected 15 points on the strength of four treys.

The First Settlers finished a run of playing three games in four days.
