Cops: East Marion man caught driving under the influence
Dagoberto Lopez, 23, of East Marion was arrested in Mattituck early Sunday for drunken driving, according to a Southold Town police statement.
Mr. Lopez was pulled over on Route 25 near Elijahs Lane for failing to stay in his lane, police said. Officers found that Mr. Lopez’s driving ability was impaired by alcohol and he was arrested at the scene, according to the statement.
He was charged with misdemeanor driving while ability impaired and held for arraignment police said.
