The Suffolk Times honored its 2013 People of the Year at a ceremony Thursday night at the paper’s main office in Mattituck. Recipients included a legendary basketball coach, school superintendents a fish market owner and more. 

The list of winners included:

Educator of the Year: Al Edwards

Business Person of the Year: Charlie Manwaring

Civic People of the Year: Doris and Ron McGreevy

Public Servant of the Year: Heather Lanza

People of the Year: David Gamberg and Mike Comanda
