The Greenport Village Board has created a new committee to determine the feasibility of replacing bulkhead at Mitchell Park Marina.

The Project Advisory Commission is tasked with finding out if the village should replace the marina’s aging 20-year-old bulkhead, Mitchell Park Marina manager Jeff Goubeaud said during Monday’s Village Board meeting.

The Village Board appointed several people to serve on the volunteer group, including: Mr. Goubeaud, village administrator Paul Pallas, village ZBA member David Corwin, Trustee David Murray, residents Michael Acebo and John Saladino, and representatives from the state Department of Conservation.
