David Christianson of New Suffolk, a student at the University of South Dakota, has been chosen to participate in the annual Posters on the Hill exhibit in Washington, D.C., April 28-29.

David’s poster will present the results of his research on “Design of Nanoscale Compositions for Remineralization of Human Dentin.” His poster is among only 60 out of 600 selected for inclusion in this prestigious undergraduate research event. Congratulations and good luck!

Cutchogue East sixth-grader Shelby Dufton has been experiencing a whirlwind. After playing Grace in “Annie,” she auditioned at Citi Field for a chance to sing the national anthem on opening day, performing “Part of Your World” from “The Little Mermaid” as her tryout song. Though Shelby was not chosen, she is sure to have more moments in the spotlight, God bless!

Taylor Gildersleeve can relate as she continues down the road to entertainment success. She was recently booked for a guest role on the CBS show “Unforgettable,” starring Poppy Montgomery and can also be seen soon in one of her favorite roles as April in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Taylor is quick to share the spotlight with her sister Morgan, who is carrying a full class schedule at Parsons: The New School for Design with a “flawless” GPA and, in what little free time she has, is making a name for herself as an interior designer! The Gildersleeve women are not the only high achievers. Brother Will, a junior at MHS, is challenging himself with honors classes and continues to excel in his athletic endeavors. The best to all of you!
