Several marshes in Southold Town will be treated for mosquito larvae Tuesday, Suffolk County officials announced.

The county’s Division of Vector Control will treat Great Hog Neck in Southold, as well as New Suffolk marshes and Greenport locations at Kerwin Boulevard, Pipes Neck Creek and Pipes Cove, officials said.

Spraying will be completed by helicopter from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. using Vectobac 12 AS pesticide, officials said.

In the Town of Riverhead, aerial spraying is planned for Indian Island in Riverhead; Iron Point in Flanders; Overlook, Crescent Duck Farm, and Aquebogue Farm in Aquebogue; and Pier Avenue and Millar Farm in Jamesport.

If weather conditions prevent the spraying, treatment will continue on the next suitable day, according to a county statement.
