Cops: Greenport woman caught driving drunk, again

A 50-year-old Greenport woman with a prior DWI conviction was arrested on a felony charge after being caught driving drunk early Wednesday morning, according to Southold Town police.

Ruth Love was stopped on Route 48 in Mattituck just before 1 a.m. for traffic violations when she was found to be intoxicated, police said.

She was transported to police headquarters awaiting morning arraignment, according to a police report.

Police seized her vehicle since she was previously convicted of DWI, the report stated.
