Rosemary Donohue Luscher

Former East Marion resident Mrs. Rosemary Donohue Luscher, of Indian Land, S.C., passed away at her home Friday, June 20, 2014. She was 72.

TRosemary was born September 4, 1941, in New York City, and was the daughter of Francis and Margaret O’Donnell Donohue. She was a graduate of Bishop McDonald and received her nursing degree from Suffolk Couonty Community College. She retired as a registered nurse after many dedicated years of service to countless individuals.

Rosemary married the love of her life, Chuck, February 11, 1961, and from that marriage were blessed with four wonderful children. They lived most of their lives in East Marion. She enjoyed gardening but her pride and joy in life was her family and especially her precious grandchildren.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Chuck Luscher of Indian Land; her children, Charlie Luscher, Jean (Domenic) Lepore, and Brian Luscher all of Charlotte N.C., and Stephen (Karina) Luscher of Hollywood, Fla.; her sister Peggy Baldwin of Greenport; her brother John (Linda) Donohue of Southold; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Frank Donohue and her sister Loretta Vanderbeek.

The family received visitors June 22 at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel in Charlotte. A mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, June 23, at 11 a.m. at Saint Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill, S.C. Private interment will take place at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews, N.C.
