Three arrested for DWI amid beefed-up patrols in Southold
Three people were arrested on drunken driving as Southold police were joined by members of neighboring departments to increase patrols over the busy holiday weekend.
The “saturation patrols” ran from 8 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday, and yielded the arrests of the following people for DWI and other charges:
Esteban Tocay, 25, of Greenport
Yimi Ochoa, 22, of Greenport
Faye Miller, 24, of East Marion
Southold police got help from members of the East End Stop DWI Task Force that included New York State, Shelter Island, Suffolk County and Suffolk County Park Police officers, according to a press release issued Sunday.
The stops also resulted in several traffic violations, including charges for driving with a suspended license and no license.
