Blotter: BWI arrest near Shelter Island
A Connecticut man was arrested for boating while intoxicated near Shelter Island on Aug. 23, police said.
Ralph Iannuzzi, 51, of Madison was operating a vessel northwest of Hay Beach Point between Greenport and Shelter Island and was stopped at a BWI checkpoint that Saturday, police said.
He was found to be intoxicated and taken to shore, where he failed several fi eld sobriety tests, police said.
