Remembering the victims of Sept. 11
A memorial service was held at Jean Cochran Park in Peconic Thursday night to remember all those who died in the Sept. 11 attacks 13 years ago.
Fire departments from across the North Fork marched in a solemn line up to the Morning Call osprey which sits on a beam recovered from the World Trade Center.
Several dozen people attended to pay their respects and place flags in memory of those who died.
