Allison Surozenski fell in love with hiking and the beauty and peace of public parks during her time studying abroad in New Zealand. Recently, she was recognized for 10 months of environmental education and conservation service in Massachusetts through the Student Conservation Association with AmeriCorps. The group installed a bridge over the Swift River, creating public access to the trails at the Quabbin Reservoir. This month, Allison’s latest adventure took her to Yosemite National Park for a trail management project. Thank you, Allison, for your service through AmeriCorps and all the best!
